Hello and welcome to the blog for karenmadecraft.  

karenmadecraft is, at the moment, a tiny wee venture run by me, Karen Todd, from the spare bedroom of the house I share with my husband, Brian.  

I started crafting a long time ago and I can honestly say that I have never stopped.  My crafty interests range from hand and machine sewing, paper crafts, felt making, knitting and crochet (but I am worse than rubbish at crochet).  I am happy to try my hand at anything really! 

I am a terrible hoarder, I love stashing yarns, paper, fabric and washi tape - but all of that means that no matter when the crafty notion takes me I always have something to pick up and get working on.  

I am a strong believer in doing the very best I can (just ask my friends how many times I rip out and re-start a knitting project!) and I love seeing something turn from an idea into a thing that one can touch, use and love.  The karenmade things I think am most proud of so far have been all of the elements of wedding stationary that I created for our wedding in 2013, and my first knitted project that actually went to plan! 

 karenmadecraft has become one of those things... I have business cards so it must be real, right?
